Literature Text
I
Deep within the crevice,
of a tower of brier
a girl lay trapped,
within a dark desire
acquiescent to the lies
around her
tainted memories
slowly begins to blur
II
Forever dethroned,
to no more but ash
lamentations in vain,
blood stains the velvet blue sash
when will you come rescue me,
dearest prince?
for so long I have waited,
for you since
III
I seek out the light,
that shines through the curtain
The wonders out there,
brings hope I am certain
may it be your warm hand,
that takes me away
your sugarcoated lies,
that leads my heart astray
IV
Oh dearest prince,
I dream of you every night
your sweet mannered smile,
would be a pleasing sight
unbind these chains,
that hold me close to the abyss
the cry of the banshee,
stirs my heart amiss
V
The dark plagues my world
be it Satan's token
a music box plays
a spindle wheel broken
VI
The happy ending
that in dreams I see
may it all turn out,
as a childish plea
the words I've lost,
heaven be spoken
the story of a princess
whose eyes will never open
Literature
Sleeping Beauty
Picturesque.
Your hair fans across the pillow in a dark curtain.
Your blue eyes are closed, relaxed, peaceful.
A small smile on your lips, walking the world of dreams.
Embraced by sheets that keep you warm and safe.
Embraced, too, by my arms.
You murmur softly as my fingers brush your cheek.
Contented as you stir against my touch in your slumber.
It's as if I have an angel in my bed beside me
But I know that you are so much more than even an angel could ever be.
Loveliness far beyond Heaven.
Far beyond anything.
Morning's hour fast approaches
And yet, I cannot bear to awaken you.
I am loathe to disturb such a vision.
So sweet.

Sleeping Beauty
A lifetime passed within a dream.
Literature
Sleep
Perhaps it's the pressing consciousness
that across the world
people are at work and school
and walking sad with worry
Did people sleep
before they had to think of that?
Or perhaps it's the dreams
the ones you hate or hate to wake from
that don't offer their portents
as long as you are staring at the screen
or the printed page
or the windshield.
Or maybe there's a part that thinks
if you can just push the night clock round
Dare yourself not to close your eyes
like the everyday sun-wakers
To walk yourself through morning and beyond
the world will have to change somehow.
And the next time you give in
you will wake to someth

dance in the moonlit sky...
grant me my one desire...
do so, or I shall die.....
shedding tears of contempt
bleeding wounds of regret...
in darkness I repent.....
sins I wont ever forget
